Let’s wash away the hate together!

With the coronavirus pandemic now declared a national emergency in the United States, uncertainty and fear are breeding acts of discrimination and violence against individuals of Asian descent.

To help combat the rising tide of hatred toward the Asian Pacific American community, we are seeking your help.

Here’s how to get involved

1. Record a video of yourself washing your hands and sharing a personal story about how the coronavirus has impacted you
2. Videos should be at least 20 seconds long — the recommended time to thoroughly clean your hands
3. Post your story with #WashTheHate on social media. Encourage others to participate by tagging them in your post or sharing these instructions
4. Share the link to this website and follow us on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.
